Live your priorities for a meditative life first.

meditative life

It always comes back to the same thing! Living by those priorities that you know keep you away from toxins and lean you towards a meditative life. Some people get it earlier than others, some not at all, some find it and lose it. Along the way, through experience, environment and perhaps even a bit of natural ability, we find ways to survive. Its always been that way although while we once were focused on survival that was subsistence in a natural world, now the environment is much more complicated.

With the advent of technostress, media biases and societal pressures that are ever changing, we absolutely must have reliable way to bring our minds back to the stillness of our natural being. Effective options include meditations in many different forms. In this sense, we apply the field of meditative acts as defined by activity that allows the natural flow of the mind, not necessarily always in stillness, but with a purity of the interaction with inputs that either evolve from nature or are seen with dispassionate observation in still meditation. Forest Bathing, Self Care Practises, Yoga or for some, activities taking complete focus like skiing and biking provide the refuge from stress (expectations of interaction) that arise from emails, calls, texts, news articles and intrusive advertising that pollutes our once pure environment.

So, it comes back to priorities, before you opt in to the noise of modern day society. Choose nature, meditation, caring for family and all life, passively, without expectation or judgement, just being.
